IT STARTED WITH A STORY
I unexpectedly lost my mother and didn’t see a penny of her estate. So I started Legacy Street Law to make sure families’ legacy & wealth don’t get lost.
PLANNING IS NOT RESERVED FOR THE WEALTHY
We keep the state from declining what will happen to your assets!
On October 2, 2011, I got a call that my best friend, the person who loved me unconditionally no matter, was critically sick in the hospital. The next day, she suddenly passed away suddenly from a blood disease that we didn’t know she had. And neither did she. That person was my mother, and she was 46 years young.
Life can get so busy, and you never think something like this is going to happen. As you can imagine (like many of you who think, “Oh yes, I DO need to get my estate plan done - I’ll get to it later”), my mom thought she had more time. I know more people are in my mom’s shoes than not. 62% of adults do not have any legacy plan in place and the percentage is much higher for people of color.
My mom was one of those people included in the statistic. And those actions caused me to not see any money from her estate.
What is done in one generation affects the ones that come after.
So, I made the decision to use my gifts, training, and knowledge to help others make sure that their legacy does not get lost.
I would love for you to let us be your guide in implementing a legacy plan for you so that your legacy and generational wealth can truly be passed down, felt, and remembered for generations.

WHAT IS LEGACY PLANNING?
A legacy plan is a plan for how you want your wealth you’ve created during life to be handled when you are not able to yourself. It’s a plan and strategy for the care of your finances, health, things, children and family, and intangible assets. And you have causes or organizations that you care very deeply about….this plan can help you support those missions in an impactful way!
There’s no one size fits all for estate and legacy planning. Many people think, “I just need a will.” But let’s be honest….
That may not be the case based on your situation, goals, and desires. That’s why you need to talk to an attorney about your specific family and financial situation, goals to pass down wealth generationally, and desires for how you want future generations to remember you.
Legacy planning is for everyone!
Anyone who wants to be in full control of the decision-making of major aspects of their life (such as financial, healthcare, and legacy decisions) needs and benefits from a comprehensive legal strategy. By getting the right legal and financial plan in place, the VIPs in your life will have understanding and supportive guidance on how to best assist you in your legacy and generational wealth journey.
