For legacy-minded families, leaders, and individuals we are the leading law firm that provides comprehensive generational wealth and legacy planning.
We combine customized planning strategies, culturally relevant education, and the legacy goals and values of our clients to make the ultimate plan that actually works and impacts generations to come.
When it comes to protecting and preserving generational wealth, families, and legacy, we provide the leading legacy planning solution, which properly and completely transfers wealth and legacies from generation to generation. Unlike other legacy planning services, we not only plan for tangible wealth but also intangible wealth like beliefs, experiences, and values so that the next generation has an understanding of the actual intentions behind planning decisions.
As a potential client of Legacy Street Law, we expect that you be responsive in your communications with us; are respectful our planning process, firm policies, and hours of operation; be willing to provide personal information about your family, the things you own, and your goals; ownership of your plan; agreement between spouses on planning decisions (if you're married); and the desire to leave a true legacy.
We are not able to give you an exact flat fee estimate until we sit down with you to see everything you own, the nature of your family situation and your planning goals. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all solution, which means we need to take a deep dive into your situation and partner with you to determine the best package (and therefore investment) for you.
We can tell you that our full-service comprehensive estate planning packages start at $3,500 for will-based packages and $5,500 for trust-based packages. The exact fee will depend on your specific situation and the package you feel is best for you.
We are a primarily virtual law firm so most of our meetings will be virtual. (Very Important Note: If you - a potential client of ours - are not able to meet virtually via video conferencing for whatever reason, are not savvy or at least fairly familiar with the use of technology, or do not want to mostly meet virtually, we are probably not a good fit for you).
If you are within an hour driving distance from Raleigh, NC (or don't mind driving to Raleigh), we will hold your signing meeting in-person at a designated location chosen by us. If not, we will hold it at your home.
Our hours of operation are Monday - Thursday (9AM-5PM and Friday (9AM-1PM). We do not hold any client meetings outside of these hours - no exceptions.
We are not open on weekends, federal holidays, and the last 2 full weeks of December/beginning of Januray.
Please expect a response to your inquiry or request in 24-48 business hours.
Due to the nature of our work and us strategizing and beginning to work with you to create a personalized legacy and long-term business plan for you, we do NOT offer refunds on services that have already been rendered. You may receive a partial refund, or we may relieve you of future payment installments for any services that have not already been rendered.
For legacy & estate planning only - no more than 10 weeks. Any business succession planning will be a completely separate engagement and the timeframe will vary depending on the business/organization.
However, please keep in mind that your responsiveness, communication, and scheduling conflicts may affect this timeframe. (As well as any circumstances outside of our control).
*Rushed services will require an additional fee.
